Wired Extreme Policies

  • ::Privacy Policy::
    All our customer's information is protected and not sold to third party companies. Your information is only used for our records regarding work orders and warranty information.

  • ::Lemon Policy::
    A lemon is a unit that continues to fail and has been repaired numerous times and still in not working properly. We here at Wired Extreme have a lemon policy where if the console fails a fourth time, we will exchange the console for you as long as you are within warranty.

    Our system keeps a track record of each serial number of all the systems and notes are kept about the system as it is repaired by staff here at Wired Extreme. At any time we feel that the system is not worth repairing any longer, we will inform you that an exchange will take place.

    You do have the right to refuse an exchange and if so you will receive a refund minus any shipping charges, parts replaced, and a $20.00 labor charge for the time spent on the console. Exchanges can take up to three weeks but very rarely do they take this long. If you have any questions about our lemon policy, please make sure to contact our staff.
  • ::Warranty Policy::
    Any customer that gets a system repaired / purchases a unit / exchanges for one of our units, are covered by our warranty for 90 days. Customers have the option to upgrade up to four years by paying a certain charge that covers the cost of the warranty for that time period. To receive these prices, please contact us or look at our rates page.
    The warranty is a full coverage warranty that covers any hardware defect for units that have been repaired / sold / exchanged to a customer. Your warranty will start the day you receive your console.
    The following is not covered by the warranty:
    - Liquid Damage
    - Accidental Damage
    - Tampering
    - Cosmetic Damage
    - Warranty Sticker Removal
    - Serial Number Tampering

    The customer is responsible in contacting Wired Extreme before their expiration date of their warranty and having it fixed.
